This photo shoot was done in the Blauwhuis, a historic building in Schiedam.

The building was completed in 1765. It was opened as an improvement house for alcoholic and lewd women. Later on, drunkards and prostitutes were added. In the end, mainly women were admitted.

Later in the 18th century, the destination turned into a home for the ill or insane children of wealthy parents. In 1846 the Blauwhuis ceased to exist in its capacity as an aid or hospital, and it was used as a subdistrict court, and then as a post office. In 1897 the Municipal Gymnasium was established there. From 1968 it became the main fortress of the Schiedam music school, which moved out of the building in 2010.

The Blauwhuis is now part of a complex with luxury apartments and cultural spaces, the Blauwhuiskwartier.
