Judith Wiersema (1968, Netherlands) is known for her beautiful sculptures in bronze and aluminium, mostly expressing female forms and postures. She uses stone or wood to start her creative process. ‘This’ as she explains, ‘helps me to give the emotion strength, because it resembles the resistance I encounter in real life’. After it is translated in bronze or aluminium it will contain the strong and almost abstract radiance she wants to accomplish. Judith had exhibitions with her work in the Netherlands, Europe, South Korea, China and the United States.
