RAYMOND SPIER
In 1974 Raymond Spier started his career as an independent artist. The following years he decided to cast his own bronzes at the Ingrid Rollema foundry in Scheveningen. However, around 1987 the foundry closed down. As he was unable to find an alternative that could live up to his high standard, he set up his own foundry in October 1989: the STUDIO LEMAREZ (300m²) in Ridderkerk-Rijsoord. In addition to bronzes he began to design light objects, furniture and door fittings.
His fascination with organic forms and structures led him to design tables, which all reflect solid craftsmanship and a good eye for material and quality. His many years of experience with glass, stone, casting and working with non-ferrous metals and wood, ensure that his tables are durable and unique.
